The Pull of the Moon book review. The Pull of the Moon is the first novel I have read by author Elizabeth Berg. It is a relatively short read with well under pages. It was not like anything I have read before.

I enjoyed it and found myself just giving in to its almost musical magic of words. 5/5 stars. This was a great book. The novel follows Season 1 of the TV show, with a few exceptions. The show went into more detail, while the book felt a bit rushed.

Some parts from the show were left out of the book, which was disappointing. I wished the author went into detail about how the characters looked, instead of having to rely on the /5. I read reviews of The Pull of the Moon for my book group discussion and I loved the way Publishers Weekly referred to the format of the book.

The reviewer wrote, “She chronicles both the geographical terrain and her inner landscape in further letters to Martin and to her grown daughter, Ruthie, and in a journal that has the tone of an.
